Yup! But with radiation for brain mets and spinal mets. Surgery is a good way to go when possible.

I AM CURRENTLY NED 13 YRS 9 MONTHS I initially had surgery and SNL . Pregressed 4 1/2 yrs later with lung mets in both lungs. I opeted out of susrgery. Ten months later dx with brain met. I had a craniotomy and did holistic treatment for follow up. Gave myself injections of Iscadoer ( mistletoe) and two other herbs for almost two years. Good Luck. We each have to do what we believe is best for us.. !1 Han gin there

I was diagnosed at Stage 4 with unknown primary. Surgery with Gamma radiation at margins during surgery. NED for 6-1/2 years now.

I have a mate who had SNLB and then axillae lymphadectomy almost 20 years ago. He went to two follow ups with his doctors and thought to hell with it and never went back.
Back in those days, the operation took 13 hours. He said he decided what will be will be.
He's a doctor by the way.

After my wow expression ๐ I must say that sometimes compertalizing works! Living your life as it is, making projects. I am not encouraging denial as a way to facing life, though learning to put some things aside helps to feel life lighter.
I am impressed with the responses. It brings hope in a very realistic way.
