    Has anyone heard from DeniseK lately? Does she have a blog or a Facebook or anything?

      Been wondering this myself – I have not seen any recent updates from either her or her daughter. Even though I do not know her personally, she has been in my thoughts.

        I just got a message from Denise.

        She's doing OK. Still on the BRAF/MEK combo but with more morphine and steroids so she is feeling better and able to talk and eat better. She is still refusing hospice and hoping to get compassionate use for anti-PD1. She is busy visitng with friends and family and looking forward to Thanksgiving. 

        Man! What a tiger!

        She's doing OK. Still on the BRAF/MEK combo but with more morphine and steroids so she is feeling better and able to talk and eat better. She is still refusing hospice and hoping to get compassionate use for anti-PD1. She is busy visitng with friends and family and looking forward to Thanksgiving. 

        Man! What a tiger!

        It warms my heart to know that you guys are thinking about my mom. She is so strong. A month ago I really didn’t know if she would make it to Christmas. We have been enjoying the holidays and so glad to still have her with us. It sjcks though because she lives three hours away so it is a little hard to not have her close as we would like to spend more time. I am just very thankful for the time that I get. She is still hanging g in there but she did see the doctor the other day and he said that once the steroids quit working as effectively then things could go fast. Thanks for all of your concern. We will definitely keep you all posted. I am just amazed at my moms strength to not give up.

      She has been posting some updates on Facebook … they are all upbeat and positive.  She's spending time with her kids and friends.  🙂  To my knowledge, she has not entered hospice.
