    Hey everyone, well I did my fourth and final dose of ipilimumab yesterday. All went well. Unfortunately this whole time while on the drug, I didn't seem to experience a single side effect, I say unfortunately because from what I understand, side effects are a good sign it may work. And I had nothing, so a part of me is a bit disappointed and worried. But who knows, I guess anything thing is possible. I should be thankful that overall I still feel pretty good. I've had a lingering itchy throat cough which signs point to a post nasal drip issue.

    Hey everyone, well I did my fourth and final dose of ipilimumab yesterday. All went well. I'm going to enjoy the holiday and welcome the new year, do my best to make it through the "waiting period" until I have my scans in a couple weeks. I'll let you all know how it goes.  (fingers crossed).

      Hi Kevin, My husband finished Ipi in September.  He has his 12 week scans next week.  He also had very little to no side effects.  However, as of right now he is responding.  His last scans showed some significant shrinkage in a mass behind his breastbone and some slight shrinkage in a mass in his chest wall.  We are hoping and praying for further response shown with the scans next week.  We are also living a fairly normal life and are so looking forward to a beautiful holiday.  We wish you the same and we well send thoughts and prayers for response to Ipi for you as well.  Peace and blessings, Melissa

I have a 24 week scan at the end of January and hope that these tumours are doing the same thing and nothing is anywhere else.

        Absolute Lymphocytes are often a good indication that you may be responding.  You can get these results from your blood work.

        Keep positive!  I hope your scans rock!

      BOY!, Show the good side effects.  That's what is really wanted!  Yeah, I know not having bad ones makes us wonder, but one isn't sure until one gets the scan results.  Glad you're feeling good!  My IL-2 side effects made me wonder if it was working, but it sure helped.  Hang in ther aand we're all wantiing to hear the scan results!

      I finished my 4 doses of IPI/Yervoy in Nov 2011, scan in Dec 2nd showed shrinkage in liver & lung mets (each over 6cm big), shrunk down to almost nothing, on the 1st scan.

      I never had a SINGLE SIDE EFFECT, and I never understood the numbers on my paperwork, so I can't even tell you if my numbers were up/down, etc!

      It can work on anyone, side effects or not!  31 years old here, no idea if age helps or not!
