I take a Centrum Silver multi-vit for women. Also B12 and D3. I was taking the multi-vit, the B12, and a probiotic when on Keytruda. The B12 helped with a non-iron deficient anemia issue. I only added the D3 after a recent blood lab showed I was low…… and I've been off Keytruda since July 2016. My docs were all aware and all ok with the vitamins. I too have a thyroid issue (thanks Yervoy and Keytruda for that) and am on 150 mcg of Levothyroxine….. along with 500 mg of Keppra x2 daily.

Any B complex vitamin will make your wee shine a lovely shade of "Gatorade". LOL! I'm not sure why it does this, but even perfectly healthy people have the same issue. It's totally normal. 🙂

My husband (the patient) is taking probiotics on the advice of his oncologist, and is drinking kefir. He's taking a multivitamin, turmeric and like many others D3. (My doctor and previously dietician wanted me on 3000 if of D3 too due to lack of sun). He's considering a couple others and before taking will let the doctor or research coordinator know, as they've requested.

He's either getting 480 nivo monthly or 280 nivo and 1/3 dose of ipi every other week.

      Scooby,

When I srarted Keytruda, I asked if I could continue to take my vitamins and supplaments. He was fine with it…never even asked what I was taking.
