I've had SRS on two separate occasions but never had the pain you are describing. I would check with the doctor to make sure there's no swelling in the area. Best wishes!

      Hi Scooby,

As a data point for you, I've had SRS two times also, like Rosa1, but haven't experienced any pain like that in the weeks and months afterwards. So in my case, I'd probably report anything like that to my docs.

Have you ever felt that kind of pain from your arthritis before? Or is this not feel like anything you've felt before?

        Hi Kylez,

It is a strange feeling like numb with pain my arthritis is in my neck , spine i do get pain a lot in my neck when turning left to right always. This is at the very top of my neck just where the skull starts. So is different from my normal pain but could be stress and tense from treatment and worrying.

Thank you for message Kylez hope you are well.

My Mother's radiologist and neuro-oncologist ask if she has headaches every time she sees them. Headaches could simply be a side effect of the SRS treatment, but it could also indicate a new metastase or even bleeding of one or more treated metastases.

You should contact your doctor right away.

      Good luck!
