I am sorry about your husband's diagnosis. I live near Indianapolis I have a dear friend whose husband was diagnosed with stage iv melanoma. Her husband went to the James Cancer Center at Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio for treatment. His doctor was Kari Kendra. He received very good care there.
This is a good place. You will find a lot of support here. Peace to you.

First off, I am so sorry about the loss of your husband. It is so kind of you (and of him) to want the remainder of his medication to go to others fighting this awful disease.
I cannot speak directly about the Zelboraf. However, when I got pregnant after undergoing infertility treatments, I was able to give my leftover medications (extremely expensive stuff) to my doctor. He would them give it to couples who could not afford them otherwise. You may want to talk to his doctor or the clinic where he was treated to see if they have a similar plan.

I have chronically low vitamin D levels. When they were first discovered, I was at 7. I have been under treatment by a couple of different docs, and highest my D ever got was 25. The last time I was taking 50,000 units 2X per week I only got it up to 19. As soon as I am off of it, it plummets again. No one seems to know why this is so hard for me.
I have not heard the 90-100 levels. My doc was trying for 50. Any ideas on what else I can do?
