      Amy,

thank you for your reply, I do hope is simple to remedy his symptoms. I am also glad we are under a melanoma specialist (though far away from us) because he is the one helping us figure out. We are still waiting for results on the blood tests…wait due to weekend schedules. It helps me think that with specific mess he will rebounce back and start to be healthy again. It is so hard to see him suffer so much πŸ™

POW thanks for suggesting this topic … and Brendan you are right, it is hard to ask for help!

Our friends come over to help mow the lawn … we don't have a say πŸ™‚ Last weekend while they were at it, I was able to clean the house. Indeed is a great feeling to have your house clean to care for your love one.

The simplest things are the ones that help the most.

      Hi Carol,

I am sorry your brother is feeling down and not to good. My husband is in the PD1 trial and he has had good days and bad days. We knew the tumors were shrinking because he had one in the arm that was visible changing by the day. When scans time came around indeed they were a confirmation of the response.

He gets fatigue quite easily, I guess is because they are battling a great battle that needs all their strength to win it.

I hope your brother is just having this down time because internally he is kikcking melanoma's buds!

Nutrition is really important as you probably know by now.

There was a time during the past couple of months that my husband got really weak and it was because his hematocrit levels were low 8.7, low enough for him to feel symptoms.

I pray that PD1 has not stop working for him.

Amy so happy for you!!! You go girl!!! So many treatments and to see somethin working is great. The vitiligo is something that happens with PD 1 (My husband has it as a respond to PD 1), I don't know if the other treatments also has that side effect …. but it does not matter which one is causing it as long as YOU ARE RESPONDING YEY
