I am so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. There are so many people that are stage IV and kicking butt!!! You are young and strong and I know you will fight!!! Im just curious, you said you had a birthmark removed 4 years ago. Was your birthmark a melanoma?? Was it abnormal? Does your doctor suspect that the melanoma stemmed from the birthmark? ๐Ÿ™‚ good luck Hun!

Hey!! I recently had a WLE on my 1a tumor. They too used surgical glue on the outside but I believe they used stitches on the inside. It's possible you had stitches as well. Good luck! I'm sure it's prob nothing though!

I was recently diagnosed with stage 1A and I keep thinking the same thing you are too. I know that I am at a good place with the cancer because it hasn't progressed. However, I feel like I am going to constantly live in fear the rest of my life and stare at every single mole on my body and think it is melanoma. I am praying for everyone on this board that we all beat this awful cancer and go on to live long, happy, HEALTHY, lives xoxoxo
