          My thoughts exactly! I’m at that doctors office right now asking for a copy of my Pathology report.  I’m so grateful to people on this forum for responding! 🙂

            So when you say local anesthesia is fine (in the OR), do you also mean that there is some sedation for the patient?

              You have no idea how much you’ve helped me. I am without health insurance right now, so the surgeon offered to do the procedure right in his office (to save me money). I’ve had this surgery twice before and I cannot imagine going thru it with no sedation at all. I agree it should be done in an OR.  Also, I’ve never, including this time, been made aware of what exactly my pathology report says. I’m learning from this forum that it’s important to educate ourselves and know what the details are on the labs!
