      Homemade smoothies with protein powder, greens, and lots of fruit!  They will look an odd color with the greens but you don't taste it!  But a good protein powder or it will be chalky, I think I have a whey protein!

      Hello,

      My boyfriend had a melanoma tumor removed from the scalp and had to have lymph nodes removed from both sides of neck.  He had drain tube in neck  for a couple weeks, then a long slow healing of tube hole with gauze in it for a few more weeks. (gauze changed daily).

      Thank you, Karen!  I needed a boost!  I also thought the nurse was out of line and while I don't expect someone to be Rah Rah and tell me everything is going to be ok, if she is that negative, I think it hurts the patients!
