You seem to be asking are there any Pathway inhibitors (the FDA approved one being Zelboraf, a braf inhibitor) for Braf negative people. Some trial options would be a MEK inhibitor or the PI3K inhibitor (there is a MEK PI3K combo trial out there. check out http://www.clinicaltrials.gov ) Also there is a Phase III trial for the drug E7080 which has shown some progress for both Braf positive and Braf negative people. according to Keith Flaherty (Braf Guru, MD at Harvard). There are arms for both braf positive and braf negative.

All anyone needs to know about this guy is that on his website he sells suplements such as organic body butter, tanning oil, and green tea sun screen (that doesn't block UV rays but claims to reflect them). Maybe this guy would have an ounce of credibility if he wasn't hocking his unproven organic products on his website.
He repeatedly refers to studies, several studies, thousands of studies etc. what studies? where is the proof?

Frank,
Why do you say that early Braf inhibitors such as Zelboraf have problems with their effectiveness? I think that despite the fact they don't last long for the majority of responders (there are some durable responses) they have a place because no other drug can reduce tumor load as quickly and in such a high percentage of braf+ patients. In some patients it can lower tumor burden enough for surgery to be an option as well.

hey lisa,
you know what I actually watched that a while back but didn't even realize he spoke about long term responders. I am going to check it out again. I am thinking that if it works once then you could always use it again if the Mel comes back.
