      Hi Artie,

       

      I dont think so. Occasionaly, it is an "old" tumor that is going through pseudo-progression before it shrinks. Actually most of the tumors on hodi and Wolcok paper:"Guidelines for evaluation of immune therapy.." http://clincancerres.aacrjournals.org/content/15/23/7412 shows growth and than shrinkage (Fig.1)

      Thank you for your reply (just saw it). I have wrote all the information in previous posts ( I will add it to my profile). Generally, he is treated in DFCI, Boston. He is the first pediatric to get the drug and everything is very new to us and the clinical team. the tunor is in his neck (Lymph node) and he is suffering from pain in his neck on a daily basis.

      Hi Artie,

      I agree with the previous post. My son's tumor in the neck, was biopsied today and a tube was placed to make sure his airways are open (this is swallowing issues).

      I know that everyhing will be fine. looking forward to hear that the surgery was successfult.
