Bio

My name is Morgan. I have been diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma and am currently contemplating immunotherapy for adjuvant treatment. I have a huge scar on my arm where they did surgery to remove the original pesky melanoma. The volcano atop of my skin been there for some time after being cut off by an incompetent dermatologist who didn’t bother to stress the importance of a biopsy, which was not done at the time..(I knew nothing about melanoma/no family history or prior knowledge about where this could possibly lead…)       So, about 4 years later, my new dermatologist did a biopsy and bam! It definitely came back- and with a vengeance as stage III melanoma.  Since the surgery, my scans have come back clear (PET) however, that was a couple months ago, so my oncologist wants to run some more- CT and MRI (brain.)

Needless to say I am very scared. I have a young daughter and I can’t imagine leaving her here in this cold world without a mother, it scares the hell out of me………….

I found this website and heard lovely things about it and all of you ! So here I am. 🙂
