Meagan is still stage 3C and she just started puberty and her docs are watching her like a hawk. She’s had a rough time these last 3 years with both us being quite ill. Fortunately it’s staggered so that we aren’t both in the hospital at the same time. She’s missed a lot of school over the past 3 years and is struggling as best she can. Found out she’s dyslexic and that makes it so much harder on her. Also, I lost 3/4 of my pancreas to necrosis and now a new diabetic so things are just squirrly around her. Just been rough lately. But otherwise we talk about malamoma as little as possible and treat is as a simple matter of fact so that she she has the opportunity to be just “MEAGAN” instead of a cancer patient. By no means does that mean we don’t take it very seriously, I just want her to feel like she “fits in” for once. If ya’ll remember the Dallas get together when Meagan collected post cards and letters, send her one. She loves getting mail. Meagan Brousseau 16202 Diana Lane #313 Houston TX 77062. Love to all. Claire.
