Ms Snow White ..you have landed in some of the best hands in the Melanoma World. I was fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Margolin from 2010 to 2014 when she unfortunately decided to leave her position as Co Director of Melanoma at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance to be closer to her children. She is and has been part of the Vanguard of melanoma care for a long time ( and I think started at City of Hope ). Please say hello for me and give her a hug from Pechon – Pay chOWN. During my days with her she was always available for consult / communication ; answering her phone as she's boarding a plane or having her nurse return a call. You've arrived upon one at the top of the charts
Cheers, john

all great recommendations above and another doctor offering hope & treatments; Dr. Hamid Los Angeles Clinic 310-231-2135, 310-294-0438.
he made it all work for me – my physical , emotional & economical health
my insurance would not participate in clinical trials – he retained Merck to cover all aspects of treatment- metrics, labs, clinics, antiPd1 etc….
I covered travel from Tacoma, Wa / there was even some reimbursement of lodging
Best to you

Hey MacMac
I look at this site as a place to be supportive & informative as we can in the face of a disease presenting a very difficult prognosis
and I have just short of 50" of surgical scars resulting from opening my axilla to an extended hockey stick from my left ear lobe from my initial 7 1/2 hr operation to a recent amputation – radical mastectomy of my left breast region and they are all part of a story that had a forecasted ending of about three yrs ago so bring em on if that is what it takes
If that is you in picture w / your grandpa ( or dad ) you have won the lottery in the appearance category & a little scar on your shoulder will only add a little patina to what I hope will be a long & wonderful life
I have forgotten much of names / pieces of treatments I've received but I had a skin graft in conjunction w / a mohs (?) surgery I had & the graft didn't really work ( performed by a fellow overseen by famous dermotologist ) but I healed nicely nevertheless. So I'd ask him / her about efficacy of grafting, scars in that regard.
I'm no fan of tatoos but w / that element you would be the envy of many peers.
Stretching, vit e oil, flaxseed oil, massage all part of your maintenance, recovery in between glasses of water. You GO girl…all the best, john

if you go SSDisability – I went to SS office and was given a number to call – the operator suggested the disability route and scheduled an appointment and the facilitator got me on the rolls within six weeks and I received a lump sum payment for app. 12 months since I had been dignosed.
Hopefully no need for attorney

Dear Adriana, Rob & Swanee
I'm another fan / patient of Dr. Margolin and yes Swanee about the same duration as you.
I told her I didn't think there was enough oxygen in the same town for her & Condi.
Considering all Adriana , your direction & appreciation of the calculus is sophisticated & on the vanguard of melanoma care – congratulations.
Off to Swanee's email to try for " live " contact
all the best, john
better known w/ Dr. Margolin as Pechon or pechoncito ( nowadays )
