        My husband had this same thing happen after 2 doses of Yervoy and his doctor addmitted him into the hospital for 6 days! How concered is your doctor about this. Our doctor thought this was pretty serious as ( not to scare you) but there has been deaths linked to taking this drug and developing colitis. If this is still happening today you may need to do something more.

              My husband took IPI abut 2 years ago for stage 3 Melanoma. He was on a study so I think the dosage was higher than what your wife will take. He did fine with his first dose but the second dose made him very sick and have to be hospitalized. Im not saying this to scare you just for you to watch out for the diarrhea that other ppl are talking about. She can get very sick very fast with stomach problems. Other than the stomach problems his other side effects were minimal. I hope everything goes great for her just keep an eye on the stomach and let her doc know at the first sign of problems.

                    Thanks to everyone for the information. She is supposed to talk to a different doctor at The West Clinic today and see if he has any suggestions. I will see what he says and metion the info you guys have given. I hate for anyone to think they have NO options!

                        I did find out that she also has taken Temodar. She took that when she was first diagnosed and done well with it. She also just came off of it and her melanoma had no response to it

                                i'm sorry i meant…according to his doctor his 2 treamtments are now equivilant to 4 of the new dose. Who knows if his melanoma has been kept away from these treatments or if it just wouldn't have come back regardless. Thats what makes it so hard to decide.
