        My husband Larry has gone through 2 dosage reductions with this combo because of high fevers. He is taking a break to recover from last episode and will hopefully resume treatment again att a reduced dose in a few weeks. His tumors were responding to treatment, he is just having a really hard tolerating these drugs. Good luck to your sister.

              When Larry had primary removed in 2007 the dermatologist told us there was only a 3% chance he would ever have any problems from Melanoma. He had all of the skin checks and we lived our lives.I am very sure there are thousands of people in the 97% of people who are living there lives and know nothing about this board. I am very thankful for the 5 years we had before this disease took over our lives.

                                Larry washed out on Zelboraf after 3 weeks in 2012 so that one is out. He started reduced dose this morning of Dabrafenib and Mekinest. Just praying for no fevers.
