Nice video – especially great for those newly diagnosed!

              Hi there,

My husband is currently at UAB with Dr. Robert Conry at the Acton Road location.

My husband is Stage 4 but his tumor was resected so we haven't been offered Yervoy yet (we are in the dilema of being Stage 4 but NED).   We meet with Dr. Conry again in the next two weeks and I plan to ask him about this to clarify if my husband qualifies for Yervoy or not.

Even though we don't personally have experience with Yervoy, I still believe Dr. Conry would be a good place to start.

There is a Carla Falkson that I've noticed has some trials dealing with ipi, but we haven't dealt with her directly.

I've never used one, but I've seen apps on my iPhone that are for tracking your moles.   You use your phone to take pictures periodically.  It sends you reminders when it is time to take new photos and then you (and the app) can compare it to previously photos.

Obviously mole mapping or taking photos with a high res camera would be the better options, but if you have a smart phone then an app like that might make it easier to track and remember to track.  It would also be easy to present a photo when are at the doctor if you think a mole has changed.

                          Favorable for some, I suppose…

The doctor we was yesterday was his original specialst that we've gone to for 5+ years.  He is the one who recommends the gamma knife and then watch and wait.

I will try to get us in at the facility in Charlotte soon for a 2nd opinion.

And I will update my profile. 🙂
