I am on Tafinlar Mek Combo since July 2016. ( Dosage has varied)

My Brain Metastase is in stable state (It has not grown / reduced its size)

I get Fever/Chills 3 days in a month. Doctors advised to take Ibuprufen/Paracetamol.

Last year i exericsee too much (Lifting Weights/Cardio). It increased my CK Value in blood test.

Was without both medicines for 2 weeks.

As of now I am on low dosage of Taf Mek Combo.

I have couple of scans this month. They want to increase the dosage.

If you have any issues, kindly talk with your Oncologist.

Doctor asked me to stop medicines. Was in hospital, bed rest and was given 3Litre Ringer Acetat Solution each day.  Values had reduced.

                I had fever after 2 months (38 – 39 Degrees with Shivering).

Doctor advised me to take Paracetamol 500mg (1-1-1)..

The fever went away after 3 Days.

Doctor also advised me not to STOP TAF/MEK combo because of fever.

These days i have fever every 2 – 4 Weeks.

                      I Live in Germany too.

Did you do it at a Hospital or by a 'Haut Arzt'

They will mostly refer you to an Hospital which is specialized in Oncology.

1.You can ask for a copy of the  biopsy results

2.You can ask in which Stage you are in.

                      3. Howoften you should get checked up?

I had checkup every 3 months. (My Primary mole was never found)

                      a. They took my blood.

                      b. Ultraschall/ Ultrasonic scan at my lymph nodes.

                      c. General Skin check to see for new suspicious moles.

                      d. PET – CT / Normal CT Scan / MRI Scans (I asked for a copy of the results from my Oncology)

                      e. Summary of the results were documented in 'Nachsorge Kalender' (Documentation was in German)
