I’m 4 yrs NED from stage 3 melanoma (woot woot!) but now I’m experiencing similar problems that I had right before my stage 3 diagnosis (nausea and bad bowel movements after every time I eat). It’s been going on for four days. Would you call your oncologist or your regular doctor? I’m feeling nervous about this!

These are symptoms you obviously had prior to stage 3 diagnosis? I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of that but we are all different. I personally would try oncologist but some would say follow protocol and see primary care doc. Hoping its nothing!!! Stay NED!

PS- Dr Kash specialize in melanoma? How do you like him? I see Richards at oncology specialists. Used to see Kaufman at Rush until he dropped my insurance at end of last year

No Dr Kash specializes in breast cancer. I like him a lot but would probably switch to Kaufman if I ever became stage 4. How do you like Dr Richads? He seemed nice when I met him reviewing my options at initial diagnosis.

Are you saying that melanoma caused your nausea and bad bowel movements 4 years ago? How/why did that happen? I don't understand the relationship between Stage III melanoma and gastric upsets.

Trust your instincts … the fact that you're asking – I would follow-up with your oncologist whether or not you see your regular doctor too.
