It has been about a week since my biopsy and I am still awaiting the path report. The Physician Assistant went about 1MM down in depth. How / when do doctors determine the actual depth of the tumor? Is that done during the pathology report creation? If so, how is it done?

Nino the cat, this might be a bit of over kill in the information department but following pathology presentation kind of cover A to Z in things that go on after biopsy is taken. Good luck with results. https://www.aimatmelanoma.org/melanoma-101/newly-diagnosed/understanding-your-pathology/ https://www.aimatmelanoma.org/melanoma-101/newly-diagnosed/understanding-your-pathology/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9DMwMfnTFM-
