      Got back from the WLE on my neck for my stage 1a melanoma.  Praying that this is all behind me now.  Have an appointment on monday with the surgeon to follow up and get the results if they are back by then.  I wanted to thank everyone for their support in my earlier thread.  Especially to Janner for being the voice of reason in a lot of threads.

      Now I just need to stay offline and stop reading stories about stage 1a'ers that progress to IV within a few years.

          Offline is best, but also remember that stage IA used to be a LARGE club prior to 2010.  Now it is much more exclusive.  In 2010, I went from stage IA to stage IB for two lesions because both had 1 mitosis.  Many people who were diagnosed before 2010 would still say they are stage 1A because that is what they were diagnosed as.  Enjoy your exclusive club and hope we don't ever have to see you posting here again — except good news!

                Thanks Janner.  After browsing these forums since my initial diagnosis I have constantly been impressed with your level headedness and voice of reason.  These boards are truley fortunate to have you as a part of them.
