      Hi Brian,

      Thanks for the post.  As a probable responder to the abscopal effect I read with great interest.  Recent consults with two radiation oncologists seem to point to the "antigen" effect described in the article as the main driver of the systemic immune response.

      I saw this yesterday. first thing I saw on internet when I got home from consultation from radiation onc. I start radiation next week and pray that I'll be able to benefit from this. I also pary that they find link to what triggers this. The doc discussed a sysnergistic effect with immunotheraphy and said there is great interest in this area now.
