MRI# 36 shows a midline shift, I am being admitted overnight.  10mg Decadron IV,  2years NED and now this.  Saw the MRI before any doctor came to talk to me.  Back to Being Elmer Fudd.  Back to survival mode.  Cancel the trip to Europe (Merry always did want to see Paris) Now all of the regular work I have has to be canceled again.    Will likely work through the weekend, pretty sure the Neurosurgeon regularly cuts on Tuesdays.  I feel no emotion at all.

          Good news and Bad news,

Good news 1st:  neurosurgery not sure if it is tumor or necrosis-probably going to remove it anyway.

Bad news: Neurosurgery resident pretty hunky-Merry has her eyes on him, shouldn't have pulled the moustache routine.

Hope all goes well for you. I'm voting for necrosis.

I am so sorry John, I can't imagine how you are feeling right now. It must be so horrible to have your life interrupted like this. Like the others I hope it's just necrosis!

( Maybe don't cancel Paris just yet though,  or at least don't tell ol' wandering eye Merry;)

Have you talked to the neurosurgeon ?

I hope it's some kind of scar tissue or necrosis. That would give some new meaning to the term Deadhead I guess.

I hope you can aavoid surgery John, I mean..I can't imagine brain surgery would be a good thing no matter what the reason.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Oh Doctor John   I am for once wishing for scar tissue.  (I hate my scar tissue) but for you I wish this…  I agree with Dian do not lose sight of Paris.   Merry will just have to cast her eyes at your IV pole for the now.  BUT I must say a few of my oncs are HUNKS too!

Hair will grow back, and Fudd just has to keep his lid on things (or not)  Elmer was ok doncha know.  Be at peace, both of you.

So sorry you have to do this, John – I'm hoping for the scar tissue, too, and look forward to you confirming that for all of us 🙂
