No trial. I did Yervoy for adjuvant treatment when I was first diagnosed in 2015, was stage 3b at that time. Now Opdivo is approved for adjuvant treatment which is a better option than Yervoy, no trial needed. If the margins of your WLE were positive for melanoma then they would go back and take more tissue, but I don't see why that would stop you from getting treatment once that is done.

Well that's just annoying for those that also don't want to get a CLND because we know how useless those can be, sheesh. Thanks for sharing Ed 🙂
Kabc, if this is something you'd want to do, I would ask your oncologist to try and get approval for Opdivo anyway, doesn't hurt to try.
