Hello- My husband was on Keytruda for 6 rounds and then develeoped pneumonitis from drug toxicity. Last Pet was 11/1 which was about a month after the last infusion. Scan showed shrinkage or complete resolution of many lesions but he still has a couple left. His doctor only ordered a CT chest for 2/5 to check status of lungs but no repeat Pet has been ordered. We've asked for a repeat one but they just keep saying that insurance may not cover it since his last one showed stable/resolved disease. I'm just wondering if this sounds normal and how often are "routine scans" at stage 4? Wouldn't they want to stay ahead of the game? I'd obviously much prefer to be proactive but I'm also the wife so maybe I'm just being too worrisome. Any insight would be much appreciated! Thanks!
