I have been wondering a lot these days…I am stage iv and, if (I wish upon a star NEVER) I become unable to post or suddenly pass away, can I give my password and user name to my close friend and sistah in life to report back to the group or since the new BBoard has started does that person have to establish her own identity due to guidelines…definitely, would not be used unless I am unable.  Val

          Hi Val.

I'm not Kathy, and have no affiliation with the MRF, but.. It seems to me that if you give someone your user name and password, they could easily log in and post ..but the board would automatically identify that person as you. If they wanted an independant name, they could easily establish one by simply registering, say as "Val's Sis"  or something.

Should I ever become that sick, I'll have to instruct Cigar Bob on the method of use for this board, although, I suspect, he would just email or write one of the many friends I have made here, and that person would be the one to report to the board, since bob has never really participated here.

          If I die…expect a report from Janner <g>

Val.. I hope you are with us for many many years, and that this is not an issue for you.

Hi Val – It would be fine for you to give your username and password to your close friend or sister.  When they are posting as you, I would only ask that they identify themself so that people don't think it is you posting.  It is also possible for them to create an account of their own or they could change the username on your account.  To do this go to Update Info button at the top right of the page.

I hope you will be with us for many years.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

            Kathy

Thanks Sharon..funny how we worry about certain things.  It will make it easier for my girlfriend to log in as me and identify on the subject. I will try my best to hang on like you for another 20/30 years..but I'm in quite a bit of pain right now and very depressed, did some crying last night..so unlike me to do that…leg hurts like crazy with all the tumors plus starting to show red and purple under skin, trying to get an appointment with doctor as per my phsiotherapist's request. Still waitng for ipi trial to arrival and temodar isn't working.  Val xx  Stay strong (I'll try too)
