I thought it might be helpful for the admins if we had one thread where we could post all the little issues we find as we navigate the new site.  I wrote about one in the "new site" thread, but I think it got buried.  If you have an issue, reply to this thread and use the next number.   Hopefully that will keep it organized.  I'm pulling the first issue from another thread.

      1)  How do I get notified by email when my post gets a reply?

Above, is an orange icon that says next to it, 'Subscribe to this topic'. If you click on that, you should be notified to those certain posts. Hope this helps!

The orange "subscribe" icon does not appear in Firefox.  However, you can still click on the words "Subscribe to this topic".

Amending my above statement.  I see it on one of my computers with Firefox, but not another.  Not sure about that one.

        7) I, too, see that the sort function "Sort by Reply Date" now works. Thanks! I am also happy to see the names of the people in the chat room can now be viewed in the chat box on the right side of the page. Great! Now all I am waiting for is the yellow box on unread posts and being able to see people's prior posts on their profile page.

You're getting there, guys. Keep up the good work!

      2) The sort feature doesn't seem to be working.  When I click on "Reply Post Date" it does not pull up the latest replies in date order.

This appears to have been fixed.  Thanks, MRF!

      3)  Where is the link to all of the Member Profiles?  On the individual profiles, there used to be a link to all of that member's previous posts.  Will that be reinstated?

I really miss being able to see all of a member's posts listed under their profile.  Unfortunately, the search feature is not "advanced" enough to be able to do this.  Any changes on the horizon?

Hi, Tim, Shelby and all you great folks at MRF! The new web site has been up and running for a month now and I think all of the problems and technical glitches have been pretty much ironed out– except one.

Are we ever again going to able to see the list of a person's prior posts when we visit their profile? That was an extremely valuable resource and just about the only way for a newbie to browse around and find out how one topic connected to another or how one member's experiences compared with another's. Searching for specific search terms or member names as we must do now is not nearly as helpful. The MPIP has lost the benefit of our extensive archive of advice and support.

Furthermore, not everyone fills out a profile or they forget to update their profile but they do file "update" posts from time-to-time.  So being able to view all of their posts in chronological order really helped us understand other members' history so we could provide them the best advice we can.

At one point, Tim said that the #1 requirement of the new web site was that we didn't lose any functionality of the old web site. The list of a member's prior posts is an important functionality that I hope will reappear soon.

I agree, POW.  This is one feature that is really missed.  MRF folks, is this something you are continuing to work on?

Thought I would bring this up again, since I'm not sure anyone from MRF ever saw it.  I know this function still hasn't been made available, and it is sorely missed!
