Sorry for you having to go through this. My husband had his surgery at MD Anderson and he sees two doctors for his follow-up care: Dr. Rodabe Amaria (she specializes in care of advanced stage melanoma patients) and Dr. Janet Cormier (she is melanoma surgical specialist and did his surgery (19mm tumor removed from his back). My husband has really responded to both and I've been extremely impressed. My husband prefers a very straightforward communication style and both these doctors have provided very realistic guidance. Dr. Amaria is very committed to her research and she is incredibly caring as well. If you need any advice on MD Anderson, please just let me know. I'm a medical librarian and live here in Houston. good luck!
