My dad, whose healthcare is through the VA, has a couple of growths on his face that need to be biopsied. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a Mohs surgeon who works for the VA in California. I have found someone who does this on a part-time basis at the Mather VA (near Davis), but I haven't had any luck seeing if there's anyone a little closer to the Bay Area, which would be a shorter trip for him (he's almost 90). Thanks!

You might be able to fine one using the “Find a Physician” option at mohscollege.org.   I’m guessing there has  to be Mohs surgeons local to that VA who perform Mohs as an adjunct to a local teaching hospital
