Get ready for a new language and new terms to describe the changing landscape of gut microbiome trials. Fecal transplants from Pd-1 responders to new FDA guidelines for safety included in this article. Several companies and there products are described with links directly to description of trial and companies. Look for Evelo Bioscience, 4D Pharma, Microbiotica of Cambridge U.K., Vendanta Biosciences, Seres Therapeutics (melanoma trial called MCGRAW study) update of status, Synlogic  (Sting targeted), Enterome (peptide antigens). Look for (LBP,s which stand for “live microbial biotherapeutics products”) It seems that because of some patients getting sick from Fecal micobiome transplants that the FDA came out with more difficult guidelines a couple of years ago, so the pharma companies have changed direction in flight and are using the research from feces of responding immunotherapy patients to select specific bacteria ( trade mark it ) make it into pill or live microbial product and give it orally to patients in clinical trials. https://www.nature.com/articles/d41587-021-00002-w
