I have failed Keytruda and the docs are now offering me Ipi/Nivo combo.

I am a little bit scared to do this combo as i had pretty bad GI issues with Keytruda.

Has anyone had success with the combo after failing Keytruda?

I am not sure if i have any other options anyway!

There are lots of other options. Lots of clinical trials. But who knows what will work for you. I tried to get in the keytruda il12 I think it was trial for those who failed keytruda. But my walking and health failed so they got me on keytruda plus abraxane out of trial. Clinicaltrials.gov lists the trials.

But that ipi nivo combo is the best known performing but has lots of significant and can be severe side affects.

My husband has been on Keytruda X12 mo., essentially PFS, altho there was a hint on the latest cervical MRI that the tail of the residual tumor "might" be enhanced. So he switched to Plan B which I believed he should go to anyway & had 1st Yervoy/Opdivo combo 3 wks ago, next tomorrow. Keytruda only caused him rash, itching, fatigue, so he has been lucky but also we are careful with diet: organic, no alcohol, sugar, white flour products, GMO, lean toward more alkaline. So far, with the combo, he is experiencing more fatigue and a little more intense rash, itching. Labs have remained normal thruout. Again, lucky. So, as Artie says, right now this is the next game in town, buy some time. If you haven't, perhaps you could try very non irritating, mild, balanced nutritious small meals several times/day and stay hydrated. Maybe eliminate gluten foods just in case you had a potential problem that this immunotherapy unmasked.  Sorry this is hitting you at Thanksgiving time!  Hoping you feel better soon. A.L.
