Sorry you got bad news.Most of us in our fight do get bad news at sometime in our battle.Do not get to down.Just another roadblock to navigate.With good doctors,a PMA, prayers and the tenacity of a pitbull you will Beat the Beast.In my prayers. Al

I am sorry for this disappointing news for you. Where is the recurrence? Have your Drs suggested a plan of action or options at this point? Is your Doc a melanoma specialist? Remember to take these things one day and one step at a time. Many here have been in that place of getting the unwanted and unwelcomed news of a recurrence, but these days there are oft times some options available.

Remember to take these things one day and one step at a time. Many here have been in that place of getting the unwanted and unwelcomed news of a recurrence, but these days there are oft times some options available.

I know it is all so much to take in right now. Glad you are getting an appt at Sloan. Many on here have had great results with radiation/ipi. I have also heard people saying that a recurrence appeared as a purplish area, too — SO glad you had it checked, though!! I hope you are able to get an appointment quickly to help minimize anxious waiting time. Keep us posted…
