I had my 3rd of 4 ipi treatments last week. Before that treatment I had developed an itchy rash on my shins…many small red bumps. Probably my first side effect. I treated it with 1% hydocortizone cream & it stopped itching but left behind the red marks. Now it has moved to my thighs and arms. The thing is, I've had something similar to this before. Before starting ipi, but after diagnosis. Maybe while in interferon, but I'm not sure. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

From my experience with ippi (along with gm-csf) the rash and itching is a good thing!

I'll take itching and a rash if regression is working…  so far in my case it is.

I hope that it is working for you also.  ๐Ÿ˜‰

I got really itchy 2 days after each infusion and a rash on my chest -both didn't last long and were helped with benadryl. 2 months after completeing ipi, I got the itchy scalp again and rash.

It sounds exactly what ipi causes in some people and if it gets worse, just call your Dr. to let them know.

I hope it's working for you.
