Last night I watched the whole ceremony in Tuscon broadcast on PBS. I was impressed by all those who spoke. Especially by the invocation given by the Mexican/Native American (Yaki) Phd from the U of Az.  And then I was totally impressed with President Obama's speech. Couldn't help but feel emotional for many, many reasons. For me, the uglyliest type of politics reached a head under Bush/Cheney.  I thought Obama gave the best presidential address  in decades st least. I am totally in agreement with everything he so eloquently said.

The economy will gradually improve. 90 percent of Americans want peace , good fellowship and a decent life for themselves and their families. A small (but significant0 group of right wing hate driven folks are obsessed with guns and "action"  Obama did a fantastic job of putting the devisive political state of this country in proper perspective.

So you're saying you're no John Boehner?

haha  I actually am liking his behavior lately and now that I  know how he worked his way up from humble beginnings (me too)  I respect him even more. It is awkward for him though.  Ya I'm not much of a crier, but I did get all watery eyed watching the ceremony for the victims. And I thought Obama was great.
