      Quick History
      Metastatic Melanoma under right arm
3 out of 4 Ipi/Nivo ;stopped at 3 due to severe toxicity
      20 days of radiation
      —————-
The diarrhea will not subside have gone up to 80 mg steroids by mouth, IV steroids, remicade, entyvio, lots of over the counter, as well.
Sorry for the description but the best it has been is pudding since treatment started, and of not on at least 40mg of steroids and a bag of entyvio every two weeks it is watery.
And even with the above can still be watery and unexpected.
It needs to firm up to go on maintenance without the help of meds.
      Consuming brat diet as well!
      Thanks for ideas and experiences.

Hi Hanlon, there is a pretty good video that features dr. Mario Sznol of Yale talking at the 27:26 min mark about treating ipi+nivo side effects, goes on until 34:00min mark. http://www.researchtopractice.com/DOU119/Video/1?playlistIndex=2#t=27m23s

Perhaps try psyllium powder. I use it for my existing colitis. Check with your doctors first. And as a caution. so the psyllium doesn’t interfere with your other medication, take it two hours before or after other medication.
