      I personally want to believe in my heart of hearts that Norman Sharpless our current FDA Commissioner and all other FDA workers around him allow decent, quality drugs to be approved for the US, im taking this atricle with a grain of salt, im sure theres more to it then “We” even know….

      Nothing is 100% fool proof, and there will always be people seeking to game the system for their own benefit. I personally believe that FDA makes decisions based on the sound scientific evidence, but sometimes errors do happen. Good news is that cases like this one are rare.

      There have always been, and will continue to be, dishonest researchers fabricating data to get ahead. This does not mean that scientific research as a whole is fraud. Just look at how many people on this forum are alive and well thanks to the advances in research. We identify the bad apples and get rid of them and keep moving forward.
