Lots of people have been commenting about being fatigued while on ipi/nivo. My question is if you are suffering fatigue from these meds has your thyroid been affected also and are you on hormones?

Hi, I am just on Nivo and my thyroid went out the first month on treatment. I take Synthroid everyday and still 7 months later still having trouble getting regulated. Comes with the territory I guess! 🙂

I receive Opdivo immunotherapy and have been taking 25MCG of levothyroxine every morning for over a year. I have fatigue for about 2 days after an infusion of Opdivo.

Hi Hukill, oh ya, back when i was on Keytruda (nov 2017 to like june 2018) it destroyed my Thyroid and since then, iv finally got a dose of Livothyroxin that works for me at 250mcg! Every few months id go up and up and til we found what works. Then, when i started Ipi and Nivo it messed up my Cortisol levels and i take 10mg Hydrocortisone..As far as fatigue very little these days, once they took out that 8cm Mel Monster fron my right lower lobe of my lung, my severe body nerve pain went away….good luck with your pains, its a Pros & Cons type thing ya know? So far its more Pros then anything…

I’m on 10 mg of Livothyroxin, maybe I should look at increasing it and see if it helps with the fatigue.

TSH and T4 are tested in my blood to see whether my thyroid medication should be adjusted. I would not alter the dose of my thyroid medication without asking my doctor.
