I had an mole that was close to melanoma removed through a wide excision. (I know nothing like what you guys are dealing with and I am so sorry for you!). Stitches out…for 2 weeks now. It itches. Is that normal??

Very normal and part of the healing process.  It can take a long time to heal.  As always, if you are very concerned, call your doc.

Mine was very itchy as well. Back of my left knee and a wide excision. Even after the sutures came out and months later I still itched. It’s a long healing process. Depending on depth I also have a tingling sensation and it’s been almost 2 years.
