Two weeks ago, I had an appointment at angeles clinic. I was told by nurse, receptions, & doctor that he had gone & not returning.
I wish that he would return.
Did you hear that Dr. O'day would return from a "realible" source? Who gave you the info?

I would say he is definitely NOT returning. When I was there 2 weeks ago, they gave me a new study consent form to sign. On it, Dr. O'Day was replaced by Dr. Hamid as the Study Doctor.
Best wishes,
Harry

So far so good. Next week I will have the 3rd set of scans since entering the trial. The last set showed some disappearance/shrinkage and some stable lesions (those were bone mets which can show even if they are no longer active).
Dr. Hamid is pleasant enough. I did join the trial largely on the recommendation of Dr. O'Day, who I met 10 years ago. I wish he was still there, but my treatment now is basically following the study protocol, so it really doesn't matter who my study doctor is.
Best regards,
Harry

I am currently a patient of Dr.Hamid. Before becoming his patient, I sent him an email & he responded. Then, after becoming his patient, I have sent him emails & he does not respond. It makes you feel like Dr. Hamid does not care….you are just a number in his clinical trial. I feel that I do not matter in his busy day now that he has replaced Dr. O'Day and Dr. Hamid is running Angeles Clinic.
