      Hi I’m brand new to this site & was wondering if we are allowed to post pics on here when seeking advice?

          You can include a profile picture.  Otherwise, you can include a link to a picture.  The picture would have to be hosted on some public site and provide you a link to it in a post.

            pics of?  If you're going to post a picture of your skin and ask if it's melanoma, you're going to get several posts telling you to go to your doctor/derm.  I will preemptively say that.

            Anything else and the advice below is correct.  Links work best!
