      My husband was diagnosed 2.5 yes ago with brain mets (13 tumors)…. treatments have been:
      WBR
      Zelboraf 14 mos
      Gamma x 2 (about to do a third)
      Dabrafenib/trametenib currently while also receiving Yervoy
      Latest results.. brain tumors are shrinking and/or stable!!
      Never give up hope!! Keep a positive mind and attitude!!

                      That is great news. My wife is in a similar situation to what you were (several small brain Mets and taking vem), she has just today started the first of 6 wbr treatments. Do you mind Shari your experience of wbr?

                                Hello! 17 treatments of WBR…. did not work.. that was the only treatment that didn’t work. As for side effects, he did great with radiation. Best of luck to you and your wife. Stay strong and positive.. I know, easier said sometimes, but what choice do we really have? Damn cancer.
