I’m about to end cobra and be eligible for Medicare after being on disability for two years.  I’m 45, unemployed pilot due to loss of medical because of stage 4 Melanoma. I wanted to see if there is anybody that has researched and found the best plan to be on while being treated for cancer. I’m currently on # 3 of 4 Opdivo/Yervoy combination.  I’m in North Carolina. Most Medicare advantage plans have a $6700 out of pocket max. If I go with part a and b with a supplement plan Being under 65 it is pretty expensive.  Thanks for any advice.

I’d be interested in what you have. I had disability based Medicare but I use my husbands employer’s plan which is really excellent. I’d be curious if I should be making another choice.
