Hi all, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted here, mostly because I’ve continued to be NED for the past 5.5 years which I’m so grateful for.

I wanted to see if any other young adult friends here were joining the first MRF AYA retreat next month in Michigan? I’ll be going and I am really looking forward to connecting with others from this community. I’ve never been able to connect in-person with other young adult melanoma patients, most of the friends I made during the 2yrs at the infusion clinic were closer to my parents age. Nothing wrong with that, the friends I’ve made are dear to me. But I will say, I was very excited to see the MRF putting this together specifically for the young adult group.. I know there’s plenty of us out there.

Sending hugs and good vibes to all,
      Jenn

I hadn’t heard about this. After reading,it seems I’m a couple years too old at 41. This sounds like a great event and I would really enjoy connecting with people who’ve faced these enormous obstacles. Please let us know how it went. Enjoy!
