I had my SNB at Emory and original diagnosis. I wound up opting to go to MSKCC for care afterward.

It was quite some time ago I was at Emery with a friend and also attended a patient support group there. I was very impressed with them and loved the doctor whose name slips my mind right now but I want to say Dr, Lorenson I will check my notes..That was about 8 years ago, They had a great Melanoma Cener at that time,
Please let me know if I can help in any way.

My wife was treated there 2012-2013 by Dr. Lawson and his team after she became stage IV. I can highly recommend him as a medical oncologist and melanoma specialist, as well as his team and all the nurses there. Happy to answer questions you might have by email or private msg.

Yes, you can contact someone privately on this group via email if they have set up a profile. Just click on the person's username (DZnDef in my case). That will take you to their profile. At the top of their profile are three tabs. Click on the last tab "Contact". This will allow you to send them an email (though it will not allow you to see their email address). Please note that if you choose to send them an email, the receipient WILL receive YOUR email address. As far as I can tell, any way that the recipient responds will reveal their email address to you.

I had my WEL/SNB at Emory last Friday with Dr. Dolman. I am very happy so far. My derm wanted me at Emory but Northside Cancer could see me quicker. Both said the same thing. I went w Emory because I felt most comfortable with Dr.Delman and his staff.
