Routine chest x-ray showed something on lungs. Pet scan showed nodule in right lower lobe measuring 1.6 cm x 1.5 cm. & another smaller one.  Another ct scan scheduled for tomorrow on lungs &  brain also. We meet with a surgeon on Friday. Not sure if they will biopsy or remove. Any advice or prayers are greatly appreciated.

Hi Doug, when my scans came back with something on my right lung they decided to do a biopsy to make sure it was Melanoma. They also did a MRI of the brain around the same time. The Biopsy of the lung is a little sporty, with a needle stuck in there. I had a small pneumothorax that required some oxygen for a couple of hours and some observation. My tumor is located where they can't operate so we went the clincial trial route with Immunotherapy. I wish you the best of luck!!!! Ed

I don't have any advice to give, but I will certainly have you in my prayers. Hang in there.
