    Hi everyone.  I am getting ready to move, again!  This time to a small town outside of Charlotte, NC.  Anyone have any suggestions for a dermatologist and oncologist??

      I am in Mooresville, NC… about 25-30 min north of Charlotte. Here are some recommendations:

      Dermatologist – Dr. Naomi Simon (Mooresville Dermatology Center) – 704-235-1827

      Oncologist – I see Dr. John Stewart who is a melanoma specialist at Wake Forest Baptist Health (336-716-WAKE) in Winston Salem and have been very happy with him. It is an hour drive to get there from where I am, but it is worth it as I do not have to make the drive too often. I have also heard very positive things about Dr. Asim Amin at Blumenthal Cancer Center in Charlotte (704-355-2884) – he is also a melanoma specialist.

      You picked a nice area to move to – I am really happy with my move to the Charlotte area 2 years ago. Let me know if you have any questions about the above doctors or the area. Good luck with the move.

      Hi Ranisa, Dr. Asim Amin at Levine Cancer Institute at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte is superb and specializes in melanoma.  He also works directly with Dr. Richard White who is a surgical oncologist sho also specializes in melanoma.  I hope this is helpful…Melissa
