    Probably a silly quesstion, but are there any special concerns if we get an ingrown fingernail on an arm with previous lymph node removals?

      That is not a silly question at all. As you have had surgery recently, one has to be
      careful with any potential sources of infection such as an ingrown fingernail. Is it
      inflamed or painful at the moment? How is your arm after the lymph node removal?

      Any site of potential infection where you have had all your lypmph nodes removed is a potential for worry.  You have lost your major ability to fight infection.  If you see any signs of infection you need to get to a doctor and get on antibiotics.  In the meantime, keep the area super clean.
