Maybe the writer was off on the terminology and spelling, but some of this does not make sense.
intro-ocular multifocal mela-noma?
Spiral cell melanoma? Do they mean Spindle cell?
Intraocular melanomas are generally made up of 2 different kinds of cells.
- Spindle cells: These are long, thin cells.
- Epithelioid cells: These cells are almost round but with some straight edges.
