Hi Raco, I had 4 immunotherapytreatments last summer and it is all a fog now. I do remember sleeping a lot and losing weight because of nausea. I found that eating small meals or snacks every 2-4 hours helped overcome the nausea. The good news is that a year later, my melanoma is almost gone – just one small spot on my spleen that we are watching. Good luck with your treatment!

I have had 44 opdivo treatments and 5 yervoy. I have had fatiuge from the start but have worked full time. I also have insomnia side effect so I am tired but can't sleep. Tried every over the counter and prescription sleep meds but nothing helps. Tried the "wives tales" nothing worked. My fatiuge got better after the yervoy ended but still so tired, usually real bad 3 to 5 days after a treatment.

I have had my fourth treatment out of a year’s worth. I had the exact same reaction as you. After every treatment I come home, have a couple OK hours and then fall asleep for 16 to 18 hours. It sucks but I just make sure to plan ahead so that I don’t have anything I need to get done in that period of time because I know I’m not going to be able to. Good luck! I’m hoping it gets better as time goes on, but I’m not too optimistic after reading everyone else’s experiences.

My husband has had two infusions, though we don't know if he's on the nivo only study arm or the nivo with ipi, but has had no reactions, to either one or both infusions (we can't know). So maybe there's hope for you.
On the other hand, maybe this means your immune system is cranking up, and that would be a good thing thing.
